Signs God Is With You

God wants to show you that he is with you. That he is literally in your day to day moments. He wants to show you signs that he is all around you. God speaks, but not just through his word. He speaks in signs. Remember, God spoke to the three wise men when a star appeared in the sky. God was leading them to baby Jesus through the stars. How about when the writing appeared on wall in Daniel 5. Daniel went in to interpret the writing for King Belshazzar. Soon after he interpreted the writing, the King was killed. How about when Daniel was in the Lions den and he was not even struck by the Lions. That was the sign to King Darius that God was protecting him.

I wanted to share with you a story how God made himself real to my family and I when we moved into our new home years back. Do you want to hear? Okay!

We left our old town in New Jersey and God had moved in ways there by showing his protection, comfort and his unfailing love towards me. We had encountered so much opposition after my family started to turn towards Jesus. The Lord said it was time to go and so we packed up our house and moved down towards the south.

Once we arrived here God blessed us beyond measure. He made himself known to us. It was a time where he was showing us many signs that he was with us. Back when we were in New Jersey my children were learning about spiritual warfare and teaching me Gods ways and His Kingdom. Yes, my children. They were a sign and wonder to me. The Lord was teaching them in dreams and visions, but that is for another story. It was an interesting time and a thrilling time. Now mind you, they were only 4 and 7 at the time and it continued while we were here in NC.

I remember at time when we were going to have a few trees taken down and a gentleman with a few of his workers came. My children were homeschooled at this time. They were watching through the window as these trees came straight down. Great entertainment for young boys! After these men had left we went outside to see what was left over. We went towards the back of the yard and there was a stump. Engraved in this stump was what looked to be an angel warrior in full armor. I kid you not! It was amazing. When the gentleman came the next day, they too were in awe of what they saw. The man was a christian and he had to take picture of this as well. God was allowing us to see that his protection was upon us and it did not just leave us.

Since that time, we have seen God show himself through signs. This would become almost an everyday occurrence. I am saying this to let you know that God can do the same for you. Maybe he has. I needed to know that God was protecting us because of things that were coming against us in mighty ways. I was a new christian and I was not sure how to even defend ourselves, but God knew. He will do the same for you.

But, these signs. These signs are the real deal. He makes himself known by signs, wonders, and miracles. Look, Jesus moved in signs, wonders and miracles and the disciples moved in the same. God will move for you.

Lord, there may be one that needs to know that you are there with them. So right now I ask that you would move for them. Give them and awe and a wonder of you. There is one who will read this and know that you are going to do this for them. They know it in the spirit that you are going to make yourself known to them in a greater way. I thank you for this. I know that you did it for me and I am so grateful for it because I needed that reassurance that you were there to protect me. Lord, I thank you that you are protecting this one today. That they can lean and trust you entirely because you are for them and you are not against them. Romans 8:31
